Byrd, Sr. is a trauma-informed leadership practitioner with over 20 years of distinguished military and federal service, specializing in resilience, prevention, and psychologically safe leadership cultures. A U.S. Air Force Prevention Coordination Specialist and retired U.S. Army Chaplain, Terrell brings deep expertise in crisis response, post-traumatic growth, and integrated primary prevention across military, government, and corporate systems. As CEO of TLB Resilience Strategies, he partners with leaders to design and deliver evidence-based training programs that strengthen individual well-being, team performance, and organizational readiness. Terrell has led complex crisis-response initiatives and equips leaders with practical tools to navigate trauma, uncertainty, and high-stress environments. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on trauma and disaster relief and holds advanced theological and leadership training, reinforcing his mission to build resilient organizations and communities through healing-centered leadership and sustainable human performance.
