Jerry Sanders

Biography

Jerry is a former Israeli Navy SEAL and Special Ops Agent who founded two technology accelerators: San Francisco Science™ and The Triana Group™. Jerry co-founded IWIN and serves as a venture developer and technology advisor to Georgia Tech. He was the Chairman and CEO of SkyTran Inc., and is currently involved in medical device startups and a premier Italian winery. At San Francisco Science, Jerry innovates daily and works with professionals from all walks of the start-up universe. Jerry also takes on strategic advisory roles with entrepreneurs and early stage startup companies. His interests are eclectic and he assumes advisory and executive roles worldwide in disparate fields. San Francisco Science was based on the premise that many medical device innovations failed because inventors lacked business experience. Sanders believed that San Francisco Science could play a valuable role by connecting inventors, physicians, financiers, and established medical device companies.
